My Gunners Page

Welcome you Gooners! This is a blog page intended for the affairs of the Gunners. Feel free to...say your mind. It wouldn't hurt...

WE ARE THE ARSENAL...GET YOUR GUNS READY. COYG!

THE ARSENAL, LACAMEYANG PROSPECT, THE RETURN OF THE OZ AND THE SANCHEZ RELIEF.
With the wind still on, the paper pieces cannot help it. Rumours are finally coming real,  and one has got to wonder when they rest in peace. Yeah, fans are impatient. They want it to be true,  that even the 4 - 1 thrashing of Palace presents no good news. One news that will definitely be good is the prospect of Laca pairing with Auba, with Oli still on-board. Mouth-watering, isn't it? Well a little while longer till we get to see that. Another good news definitely would be the reunion of two old team mates. Anyone remembers the team that troubled Bayern a few years ago? Well, we could have their best players in our hands. Miki is coming and that particularly, coupled with the fact that he could get to give those assists, like before, to Auba, is a thing to look up to. Personally, I am all expectant,  and I expect you to be.
Another good news? Well, yes! Sanchez finally gets his move. A good servant up to the time he started being petulant. Blame him? Not a word, but the team has really suffered. It's a good thing because they could prove they are better off with him gone. And we'll, miss his hunger, but wait! Is he really indispensable? You tell me. Laca started scoring again, well after 45 days and how many games,  someone tell.
The Coq and Walcott are gone too. We wish them well in their new adventures. Walcott is my latest Arsenal legend - a centurion and a real professional. Could  have been better,  but for injuries.
And then De wizard of OZ sits out three matches and we won zero of them. He comes back and....bang bang bang...yhey the goals flew in. What does that say? We simply cannot let him go. Get that word to Wenger...for the umpteenth time. 2018 already looks like a good year, only that we get to wait until the last day...

Update!

The January Window has finally slammed shut, and for the first time in several years, only a few Gooners, Gunners, and Goonerettes are supposedly disappointed. Actually the sign of better things to come, Arsene did a relatively early business. Hope to
see our two new Gunners on the pitch kicking the opponents' back side. However, training resumes today @ the London Colney, and we'd be hoping to see Alexis back, with @Welb'z dat guy and a host of others. Yes, the Spurs are reportedly high in confidence that they've become the favourites for Saturday - someone remind them we're not Chelsea. In fact, I don't like us being the favourites. Call us the underdogs and we're okay. The thing is, as far as Rosicky starts, there'd be a certain terror for the Spuds.
Walcott, Coquelin, and co., are to be presented with some new (and improved) contracts. Hope they sign that thing. Champions league football returns this month, and our opponents have not conceded a goal since, ...when now...ouch...December, or later. Doesn't that breed fear? Well, let tomorrow take care of itself. One match at a time Arsene! Long live the Arsenal, the Gunners, the Gooners, the coaches, board and the Manager. Yes, so be it.
Keep you update, as long as my laziness lets me. Thank you...mmmmwh!

Turning the Hands of the Clock?

Mesut assisted and again, scored another goal in as many games. It sure is not a fluke. Walcott's was the best goal, if I may say, of the match as it was simply well taken. Are we starting to see the promise this Wenger's team showed in the Community shield? Time will tell. Thrashing a team with a whooping five unreplied goals for the first time in two years should help the Gooners make that judgement. We simply played well, from Ooooooospina to Giroud, though the Villains were pretty awful. Come to think of it: Barcelona made Mourinho's Madrid look awful in their first ever encounter. We know Madridstars have not been the awfuls lots, but when the better team play with flair and enthusiasm, then the second best will have to be simply below par. That's my theory anyway.
Anyone else, or was  I the only one who, heard Arsene's Statement about Ozil's goal? I think it doesn't just stop there. He was trying to prove a point: why he allowed Poldi to go. Yes, 'fire power' - that describes a typical Podolski goal. Wenger seems to prefer technicality to Moaning-ho's physicality, and he clearly praised Ozil on that well taken strike. However, we need more of Rambo's Galatasaray's strike.
Finally, we're at that point in a season when the bad luck usually strikes. Hopefully, it's become bored with our team, and it should now get a new challenge in the blue Mancs and the West londoners. If that happens, then, this should be the year Arsenal makes it four under Wenger.
Good Luck!
