The Snapping Rope

The rope has been strained
It can withstand no further force
The rope has been stressed
Making the snappy sound as it cries

No side is spared
It is like a string which its elastic limit has been exceeded
Going towards the yield point
And finally the breaking point

But in a case when more force is added
it will have no option
than to submit to the persuading voices of the forces
For the power of many outwits the strength of one

Oh you the hardships of this world
You who take delight in rendering people useless
You who go to the party of the agony
Always misleading people

So powerful that none can escape you
None can withstand nor outwit U
You have denied me of my rights
You have almost made me useless
Keeping me like a rope about to snap
Going forward is dangerous
Returning a bit is almost impossible

The world at large is all upon me
Tackling me from different angles
Allowing me little or no breathing space
Still its burdens come
Increasing rapidly as days pass by

In school, faced with hardships
At home unsafe
Running away only worsens the case
In fact I am almost succumbing

But that I will not do
For my last and only chance
Is to seek the help of God Almighty
Never to be overcome by the world

OUR MISSION

We did not come to this world together
Together we will not die
Yet you envy me for I progress in my own field
Work in yours you won't

Nature has made us so
To have different targets
And achieve different goals
So to help the life in our society

You must not serve two masters at a time
Be this and let me be that
Never want every thing
For you are for a purpose

I say
We came for a particular mission
So putting two fists in one mouth is impossible

Even if you have not seen your star
Wait for it, no matter how long it takes
For the patient dog eats the fattest bone
And destiny can only be delayed not changed

Be and let be
Is the law of nature
Do this not because I did
But because you so much agree with it

Don't rush nor hush for all that glitters is not Gold
For slow movement is the dance of the rich
Just wait and look unto God for necessary help
Or you end up in DOOM

LET US EAT FISH...

While many Nigerians wallow in abject poverty due to unemployment, and while many tend to do all sorts of things in order to get money, and still more, while many rich men invest heavily in agriculture especially in poultry and at the end only few excel while the rest will make heavy irreparable loss, Prof Somebody on 29th of August 2007, through a 3-day seminar brought goodnews to us which was themed "ECONOMIC AND SELF RELIANCE THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE " with topic 'HOMESTEAD FISH FARMING AND FISH FEED PRODUCTION'.

The seminar which was organised by JDPC { Cath.Diocese of orlu} with Rev. Fr. Ihebinike as the director was a cosmic one.Though so great, the unfortunate and suprising thing was that only a few heads were able to show up. It was attended by people from far and wide within Orlu senatorial zone. The prof. disclosed his main aim of delivering the lecture as bringing what is less valued in Nigeria and more valued in some highly developed countries into his home. He also said that his hands are getting older, therefore he wants to train up the youths who will take up the course to a greater height. He, while delivering one of his facinating lectures created an awareness of the value of fish compared to other kinds of food, 'Fish' he emphasized helps in the development of the brains of young/growing children. He equally envisaged that, to business men/farmers, the fish production will hatch to give good and quality profits. " It is a source of getting a small fortune" he said. He further called already mangers of fish farms to report to Fr. Ihebinike so that they could be helped to make something out of the lucrative business. Fr. adviced the already fish farmers to be open to one another so that their main purpose could be attained.

Feed fish, teach fish, buy fish, eat fish but don't be selfish. Speaking on employment as one of the major advantages, Dr. prof. adviced the jobless youths to get the knowledge and get employed in any farm nearby instead of rusting away while waiting for Government.

Nigeria has a population of over 131 million people. But has 75% of the above figure as youths and therefore cannot provide jobs for all. With this nascent development, the people can now get surplus supplyof food, income infact boost a lot of developments in Nigeria... Therefore, Nigerians, let us produce and eat fish.

WHY FISHES ARE FED:

Fishes like: Tilapia,Clarias, Heterobranchus, Chry. nigrodigitatus, Heterotis, common carp (cyprinus carpio), Gymnarelus, lates, Distichodus etc are fed for:

  • Faster growth ( 1 kg of fish in six months)

  • For high shocking densities

  • It increases a close contact between the farmer and the fish

  • If provides phytoplanktons and zooplanktons for fish feeds.

If you attempt being obdurate, you regret your actions. Bye.

Quotes!

Late have I loved You,
oh beauty so ancient and new; Late have I loved you...
You have made us for yourself, O Lord,
and our hearts are restless until they rest in you
...Mais delivre nous du mal...
Oh Dieu
I teach fish but I am not selfish

YOU WILL NEVER BE SORRY...

You will never be sorry...
For thinking before acting
For hearing before judging
For forgiving your enemies

For telling the truth

For being honest in business

For thinking before speaking

For being loyal to your friends

For standing by your principles

For closing your ears to gossip

For stopping a slanderous tongue

For being generous to the less fortunate

For being courteous and kind to all

But

you must regret when...

Act out of impulse

Judge others ignorantly
Retaliate against your enemies

You lie against the truth

And

more shameful you will be...

When you talk carelessly

When you betray your close friend

When people say...

You are not principled

You gossip a lot

You are stingy

You are fuel in the fire

You are rude

& U SHOULD...
Be standing when people sit,
Be outstanding when people stand
And be standard when people are outstanding.

THINK ABOUT IT!!!

Even monkeys do think.

My childhood write-ups

The more you live underneath the surface of the milky way, the more problems you encounter. When you encounter a problem, you devise the means of solving it for it cannot solve itself.
Therefore, the more solutions you will invent and the more you will be called a problem solver.
There are many sets of problems in life. Unlike the sun, the higher you go, the tougher it becomes and more glory you get when you solve each set of problems perfectly. More humiliation you get when you slip through any problem. But also more honourable you become when through an acceptable means you make a justifiable end. Even more dishonourable you will become when through an unacceptable way get to a likely justifiable end, for the means should justify the end and not vise versa. So you can be dishonourable even when you are highly glorified.

Some things to keep U really busy.

Christ cannot be compared

He came from the bossom of his father to the bossom of a woman
He took humanity that we may take divinity
He came From heaven where rivers never flow, winds never blow, flowers never fall, no one ever dies and no one is ever buried
He was born contrary to the law of nature
In infancy, He inconvenienced the King
In boyhood, He puzzled the doctors
In Manhood, He took the law of nature
He was rich but for our sake, He became poor
He never wrote a hymn but has published more songs
Than all the song writers put together
He is the rock of geology
The lion and lamb of zoology
The organizer of all his flock
And the healer of all dieseases
Great Men have come and gone, Yet He lives on
Herod could not kill Him
Satan could not seduce Him
Pilate could not destroy Him
And the grave could not hold HIm...
